Wembley Downs Shopping Centre

The new Wembley Downs Shopping Centre is a contemporary 1,800 m² single story development comprising four tenancies including IGA. The original centre was demolished due to fire damage in 2008, and the redevelopment posed an opportunity for expansion and creation of a neighbourhood hub.

A new forecourt provides a central waiting space and alfresco area for users, sheltered from the prevailing winds by a series of curved glass screens featuring custom designed artwork depicting the context of the site and locality.
