MITA

The Motor Industry Training Association (MITA) facility in Joondalup is a training campus for apprentices of the automotive industry. The fit-out included administrative offices, a museum, 12 classrooms, a lecture theatre and a communal cafeteria space complete with commercial kitchen. The overall design aesthetic is based on a deconstructed car engine, with workshop areas fanning out around a central campus-like core and green space.
