Proposed Self Lock Storage & Existing Building Extension

This project consists of renovations to an existing large format retail building with the addition of a three-level self-lock storage facility on an underdeveloped site in the Joondalup Business District. The challenge was to provide a development which met the design requirements of a prominent corner site and still produce a viable commercial development. Our design philosophy for the self-lock storage was to simplify the structure to that of a standard steel framed warehouse whilst modulating and adorning the external facade.
