The proposed development sought to maximise the site’s commercial potential under the planning scheme whilst activating and enhancing the surrounding streetscape to create a rich and vibrant office development.
Two separate buildings were designed to allow for flexibility in staging which was dependant on tenant commitments. The development also allowed for the future connection of the two buildings for increased flexibility.
The main influence on the form and texture of the building was the historic church and St Bridget’s school which sit opposite the development on Fitzgerald Street. The mass and form of these buildings are reflected in the choice of materials and patterning of the new façade.
