This landmark two level office building on a unique corner site with river views and highway prominence is the result of comprehensive approach to a complex brief. Meyer Shircore & Associates were eventual winners of a tender instigated by Nestle Western Australia who required a new State Headquarters in the Belmont area. A combination of site accessibility, proximity to the river and the designer’s ability to meet all the feasibility, functional and aesthetic aspects of the brief resulted in the success of the Meyer Shircore concept.
Designed to accommodate the future raising of Great Eastern Highway, the building sits proudly on its site, and with a curved glass facade embracing superb river views, elegantly crafted solar shading blades mitigating the summer sun without compromising views and a selection of refined finishes chosen for low maintenance and long life.
