Our Story
Meyer Shircore was founded by George Meyer in 1963 and started as G Meyer and Associates.
George was a Structural Draftsperson who qualified from a technical college in Hamburg in post war Germany, he then immigrated to Australia in the late 1950s. Stephen Shircore joined as a Draftsperson in 1971, becoming a Director in 1980, Stephen has been the head of Meyer Shircore ever since.
The practice employs a team of architects, designers, technicians, and project managers, all of whom are supported by experienced administration, management, and systems support staff. Our commitment to technology and staff training ensures that we are always able to complete our services professionally and efficiently, whilst delivering innovative design solutions.
The company has evolved from its original inception as G Meyer and Associates into a dynamic firm with a unique hands-on approach by the partners in all aspects of the business.
All projects are designed and administered by a highly skilled team, thus ensuring innovative and economical design, exceptionally high levels of documentation, and thorough comprehensive administration of building contracts.
