A workspace can act as a powerful ingredient in the image of a business and it is perhaps no more pertinent than for those working in design. Our fit-out seeks to create a memorable impression – one that communicates that we are serious about good design.

The design brief required a functional and multi-discipline space, with an open plan studio workspace with room for expansion, partner offices, and separate meeting spaces, administration facilities and utilities.

The open plan studio space features the concrete ceiling, with exposed ducts and utilities, all painted black. Glazed partitions form the offices that surround the space, and the plot room, kitchen, breakout area, material library, server, archive room and amenities flow on from the main studio.

The monochromatic aesthetic of the building’s exterior is applied internally but with highly textural finishes and overlaid with a richer, warmer palette featuring Australian Brushbox.
